A short and genuinely complete list of everything this site stores in your browser, because a vague cookie notice helps nobody.

1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text records a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage and session storage do the same job in a different place; we treat them identically and under the same rules. First-party storage is set by this site; third-party storage by another domain. Session storage disappears when you close the browser; persistent storage stays until it expires or you clear it.
2.What this site uses
This is the complete list. There is no analytics suite, no advertising pixel, no social-media tracker and no session recording on this site.

Your choice lives in your own browser. It cannot be read by us remotely, and clearing your browser data removes it.
3.Categories explained
- Strictly necessary — needed for the site to work; no consent required.
- Functional — improve how the site works, such as web fonts.
- Analytics — currently none in use. If we ever add analytics it will be listed here and gated behind your consent.
- Marketing — not used, and we have no plans to use it.
4.Third-party requests
Requesting fonts from Google discloses your IP address and browser information to Google. No cookie is set for this, but it is still a transfer of data and we say so. If you would rather the site did not contact Google at all, tell us and we will self-host the fonts.
5.Managing preferences
On your first visit a notice offers "Allow all" or "Necessary only". The choice is remembered until you clear your browser data. To see the notice again, clear this site's storage in your browser.
6.Browser controls
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data.
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking storage does not break this site; you will simply be asked about cookies on each visit.
7.Do Not Track
We acknowledge Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. There is no cross-site tracking here to switch off; if analytics is ever introduced, these signals will be honoured as an opt-out.
8.Changes
When the storage this site uses changes, the table in section 2 and the version number above change with it. We do not consider a cookie table optional documentation.
